Our Mission

1 Timothy 4:12 says:

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

……… What does that mean?

The majority of the youth today will use this verse to pull the “don’t judge me” card and justify whatever they are doing. It is a common and very sad truth. But what does this verse actually say? What does it command us to do?

We are not to proclaim that we as youth have an inherent right to not be judged or despised because we are young. We are commanded by the word of God to be an “example”! This requires action, it requires surrendering to God, it requires the proclamation of the Gospel. This isn’t something that you can reduce to mere lip service. It requires youth to act!

So many Christians are content with simply not being dark themselves that they forget that their purpose is to be light! We are turning Christianity into a very inward focused, self-centered religion. If we truly believe in what the Gospel tells us then we should be spurred on to be light to a world that desperately needs it!

By God’s grace we can tell this story. We can ask these questions. Our goal with this ministry is to purge believer’s hearts with the conviction that they are not living the example they are commanded to live.

In the end It is our prayer that through this ministry the Gospel of Jesus Christ will begin to be lived by the church!
