Thursday night I was able to attend a small gathering of friends who heard from a group called Redeem the Shadows! They are a great group of individuals who are working hard to bring awareness to the abhorrent practice of human trafficking/modern day slavery.
God has laid out so clearly the life He desires us to live and He has said that if we love him we will follow His commandments. If you haven’t figured out exactly what role you will play in His kingdom don’t worry. Keeping His commands will keep you busy full time until you do.
This life is not a playground, but a battle ground. There is a goal, and when we are face to face with Christ, we want to know that we’ve been faithful stewards of the opportunities He has given us in this life. We need to be honest with ourselves and throw off any weight that easily entangles us. (Hebrews 12:1)
